At House of Freja, we provide Scandinavian-inspired luxury boarding and daycare in a safe, loving family environment. To ensure the comfort, health, and safety of all guests, we ask that every pet parent review the following policies before booking.

Vaccination Requirements

For the safety of all pets in our care, all guests must be current on required vaccinations.

Dogs

• Rabies
• DHPP/DHLPP
• Bordetella

Cats

• Rabies
• FVRCP

Proof of vaccination must be provided before your pet's stay begins.

Health & Wellness

To maintain a healthy environment for all guests:

• Pets must be free from contagious illnesses.
• Pets must be free from fleas, ticks, and parasites.
• Owners must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, medications, or special care needs before arrival.
• House of Freja reserves the right to refuse service if a pet appears ill or poses a health risk to other guests.

Food & Feeding Requirements

To help maintain your pet's health, comfort, and digestive routine, all guests are required to bring their own food for the duration of their stay.

Please provide:

• Enough food for the entire stay, plus one additional day's supply 
• Feeding instructions, including portion sizes and feeding times 
• Any medications, supplements, or special dietary items your pet requires 

House of Freja does not routinely provide food for boarding or daycare guests, as sudden dietary changes may cause digestive upset.

If additional food must be purchased due to an insufficient supply provided by the owner, the cost of the food plus a $15 convenience fee may be charged to the owner's account.

For the safety of all guests:

• Food must be clearly labeled with your pet's name. 
• Any food allergies or dietary restrictions must be disclosed before arrival.

Our goal is to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible. Keeping them on their normal diet helps reduce stress and allows for a smoother, happier stay. 

Behavior Requirements

We welcome pets of all personalities; however, safety is our highest priority.

Owners must disclose any history of:

• Aggression toward people
• Aggression toward other animals
• Biting incidents
• Escape behavior
• Severe separation anxiety

House of Freja reserves the right to decline or discontinue services if a pet's behavior presents a safety concern.

Veterinary Care Authorization

In the event of illness or injury, House of Freja will make every reasonable effort to contact the owner immediately.

If emergency veterinary treatment is required and the owner cannot be reached, House of Freja is authorized to obtain veterinary care on the pet's behalf.

Pet owners are responsible for all veterinary expenses, medications, transportation, and follow-up care.

Personal Belongings

Owners are welcome to bring:

• Favorite blankets
• Beds
• Toys
• Comfort items

While we make every effort to care for personal belongings, House of Freja cannot guarantee against loss, damage, or destruction of personal items.

Check-In & Check-Out

To ensure a smooth experience for all guests, please arrive within your scheduled drop-off and pick-up times.

If your plans change, please notify us as soon as possible.

Photo Updates

One of our favorite parts of pet care is sharing your pet's experience with you.

During your pet's stay, we may send:

• Photos
• Videos
• Daily updates

We may also feature guest pets on our website and social media channels unless owners request otherwise.

Safety & Liability

While House of Freja takes every reasonable precaution to provide a safe and nurturing environment, pet ownership carries inherent risks.

By booking services, owners acknowledge and accept that:

• Pets may interact with other animals.
• Minor injuries, illness, stress-related conditions, or unforeseen accidents can occur despite proper supervision.
• House of Freja cannot guarantee a completely risk-free environment.
